Never Stop Sharing
While waiting for donations to be collected for the non-formal educational institutions in our previous post, LAN Foundation has kicked off 2025 with several social and humanitarian assistance activities, including two free medical check-ups, four staple food distributions, and two distributions of decent clothing, with the following details:
- January 22: Medical check-up along with the distribution of decent clothing for approximately 30 elderly individuals in Cempaka Baru, Central Jakarta.
- February 18: Medical check-up and food package distribution for approximately 30 elderly individuals in Kramat Sentiong, Central Jakarta. The medical team also conducted home visits for some sick elderly individuals to provide health check-ups.
- March 7: Distribution of decent clothing to approximately 25 homeless individuals and informal workers (rickshaw drivers, diggers, scavengers) on the streets of Bandung (the capital of West Java, approximately 150 km from Jakarta).
- March 14: Distribution of approximately 60 Eid gift packages containing staple foods in Tanah Abang, Central Jakarta.
- March 14: Distribution of approximately 80 Eid gift packages containing staple foods in Cempaka Baru, Central Jakarta.
- March 21: Distribution of decent clothing to approximately 25 homeless individuals and informal workers (rickshaw drivers, diggers, scavengers) on the streets of Bandung.
Closing the first quarter of 2025, which coincides with the Eid celebration, LAN Foundation also distributed Eid gift packages containing staple foods to those in need on Alor Island (eastern Indonesia, approximately 2,700 km from Jakarta).
